Welcome to the EDI Hiring Practices  - Level One Certification Program.

This certification is designed to empower hiring managers, recruiters, and HR professionals with the essential knowledge and skills needed to create and maintain equitable, diverse, and inclusive hiring practices. This Level One Certification course will provide you with a foundational understanding of EDI principles and the importance of implementing these practices from the very beginning of the hiring process.  The course includes practical guides, checklists, and templates
to help reduce unconscious bias in your hiring practices

• Effective Communication - 30 Minutes
• DEI Training for the Workforce 1 Hour 
• LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in the Workplace - 1 Hour 
• How to Reduce Unconscious Bias in Your Hiring Practices - 3.5 Hours  (Written in Ireland in 2024 , edited in Canada in in use in the United States only through ADI 

You will learn:

• The definitions and significance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
• Common barriers to EDI in hiring and how to address them.
• Best practices for creating job descriptions that attract a diverse pool of candidates.
• Strategies for unbiased screening and interviewing.
• Techniques to ensure all candidates have a fair and equitable experience throughout the hiring process.
